CATALYZE CHICAGO

Catalyze Chicago was a co-working space and manufacturing network for hardware entrepreneurs. In 2016, it relocated and rebranded as mHub.

Built from the ground up by its members, it launched as a non-profit in the city's West Loop neighborhood in February 2014. Before it was acquired by mHub, it was home to over 120 individual members representing over 30 companies clustered in energy, nutrition, information, industrial and consumer applications. Since its inception, it had served as a collaborative crossroads for Chicago's independent artists, designers, engineers and manufacturers.

I was a member of Catalyze's founding team and served as its first Director of Services. The responsibilities pertaining to my role included operations, internal and external communications, creative direction, curation of culture, event coordination, and growth strategy.
