This is a design and woodworking project to build a table for supporting a record player and receiver. Concrete and oak are featured in the tabletop and braces, as a sturdy construction is required to dampen vibrations. Achieving the concrete's gloss surface proved the main challenge in this design and was accomplished by pouring fine cement into a rectangular mold over glass. The concrete top was then inverted and attached to a mid-century modern inspired poplar frame.
